DJ KRUSH returns to Brisbane for 20th anniversary performance.

After a 20th anniversary SEVEN HOUR marathon personal performance in Tokyo’s LIQUID ROOM in August… the astounding DJ Krush has been invited to Australia for Melbourne Music Week on Nov 20. Alongside this he will also perform in Brisbane prior on NOV 19 at the THE HIFI in a special late show following the Harvest festival. Krush was last here in 2010 for sets at the Gallery of Modern Arts Valentino Up Late and together with Regurgitator at the Tivoli.

With the kick-off party in Tokyo in July, DJ KRUSH’s 20th anniversary of solo career opened its doors. The opening of the new chapter of the anniversary will be the long awaited releases of new tunes. To make the news even more exciting, it’s gonna be a long term project where a single will be released online every month through into next year. There is no choice but to experience the new world of KRUSH, through various & multi-angular approach every month
The first single “Koufu no Tsubasa – breathe of wings” hit i-Tunes on 28th Sep

The first of the series, a new solo release in years (!!), is the re-edited version of a tune from the soundtrack he made for 2009 Russian animation film “FIRST SQUAD” (Won Kommelsant Award in 2009 Moscow International Film Festival), “Kou-fu no Tsubasa – breathe of wings.” Leaving the deepness of KRUSH world, vast scale of time, space & tension weaved through it, revealing a new phase of DJ KRUSH.
