Known for her stellar vocals, tight beats and big pop sounds, Papua New Guinean-born Ngaiire is renowned for her fusion of art, fashion and music. Ngaiire has released two critically acclaimed albums Lamentations (2013) and Blastoma (2016), graced the stages of festivals from Glastonbury to Splendour, toured with artists as varied as Sufjan Stevens and Alicia Keys, and had her single ‘Once’ feature in the Triple J Hottest 100 (the first Papua New Guinean to do so). Ngaiire is the recipient of multiple accolades, including four National Live Music Awards and the Australian Women In Music Award for Creative Excellence.

Multi-award winning duo Electric Fields create a haunting merging of living traditional culture with electronic music. Featuring the brilliance of producer Michael Ross, and the rare and beautiful voice of Zaachariaha Fielding – who often sings in his traditional languages of the Anangu people – Electric Fields ranges from soulful pop, to epic-scale electronic works and intensely intimate story-songs.

Bottlesmoker is a duo from Bandung, Indonesia, who have been producing experimental electronic pop and instrumental indietronic music since 2005. Adapting and creating equipment from traditional Indonesian instruments and toys, they have created four unique-sounding albums. Experience Bottlesmoker at Up Late in their only Australian show.

Brisbane-based artist May Lyn crafts soulful, rhythmic music, incorporating lush, atmospheric textures with immersive electronic beats. In early 2017 she released her sophomore EP Vessels, which received positive reviews, local and international airplay, reaching #1 on 4ZZZ’s Top 20 most played chart. Her single ‘Soldiers’ earned a nomination for the 2018 Queensland Music Awards Best Electronic Track.

Dameeeela is a DJ, radio host, and a local Yuggera woman with a heart for culture.

Black Amex plays a mix of disco, house, soul, funk and rarities. She is determined to make you groove to classic and modern tunes. She can be found on the weekend at residencies at Black Bear Lodge, Barbara and The Foundry.

Ben always pushes a left of field sound for peak engagement, encouraging open-mindedness in all aural endeavours. As one of the founders of ‘A Love Supreme’ the passion for pushing the underground to new ears has always been what he does best.
